Our leaded radiation reading glasses, also known as “cheaters,” are made for professionals who need magnification while working around X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment.
They are available in lined bifocal, no-line progressive bifocal, and full-lens styles, with 9 diopter powers to choose from.
In the bifocal styles, the upper part of the lens is plano leaded glass. The lower reading area contains the selected diopter power. Full-lens readers provide magnification across the entire lens.
Our leaded radiation reading glasses feature high-quality SF-6 Schott glass radiation-reducing lenses with 0.75mm Pb lead equivalency to help reduce exposure to scatter radiation.
