The RG-230 is a premium protective eyewear frame centered on protection and performance. The frame has a head-hugging temple design and provides excellent splash and side protection. This ANSI Approved frame is made out of a durable TR-90 plastic for high impact and chemical resistance. The RG-Focus™ also has a unique appliqué design on the temples that creates an attractive and interesting look.
The RG-230 is fitted with the exclusive Schott SF6HT leaded glass lenses that provide up to 20% more light transmission than standard leaded glass lenses. This radiation protective eyewear is standard with .75 Pb Lead Equivalency, 1.80 High-Index High-Lite Transmission Lenses, that provide a 95% radiation reduction.
Our optional Anti-Reflective with Super Hydrophobic Coating is a premium A/R coating with a Super Hydrophobic topcoat that helps protect the A/R coating from the outside, encapsulating it in a manner that promotes longer Anti-Reflective life. Besides protecting the lens from water, the super hydrophobic coating makes the lens easier to clean.
The optional Leaded Side Shields provide lateral eye radiation protection and are made with nylon covered leaded vinyl. They provide optimum hygiene properties and can be replaced when necessary. They have a Leaded Equivalency of 0.25mmPb .
